Make the time!

This week’s column is titled “Make the time!” How many times have you said, “We’ve got to get together sometime?” But that time never happens. I was recently reminded to slow down and focus on what is most important in my life.

Peace among enemies

Hey there friends and family,

This week’s word column is titled “Peace among enemies.” Once upon a time Christmas managed to bring so-called mortal enemies together as friends — at least for a day or so.

When I first read this account, I was surprised that I never remembered learning of it in my study of history. And now, I can’t stop thinking about it. Just the thought of those at war with each other finding a way to create peace in the midst of battle is encouraging.

Follow your star!
