Go fishing!

Hello friends and family,
 
My latest column is titled “Go fishing!” Something I would like to do much more often!! This piece was inspired by our recent trip to Colorado to go trout fishing with some friends from Alabama.
 
I’m intrigued by the intensity of focus that trout fishing required of me. Once I began fishing, I thought of little else. This mental state of mind is a far cry from my day-to-day experience when home.

Never stop learning

Dear friends and family,

“What is something you would learn if you had the chance,” the survey question asked. I was stumped.

This is probably my last email for the week. We’re on the way to Colorado and will be out of internet service once there. No phone service either! :-)

Bikinis come in all shapes and sizes

I sat in my sand chair wearing my one piece, I might add, as women in bikinis walked by. So why couldn’t I join in their beach brigade?
