No ‘us and them’ in God’s eyes
My new weekly column is up at UPI today. Today’s column began a couple of weeks before I read a news commentary about Heifer International. I was giving some thought to the idea of “tribalism” and realizing that tribalism is active in every society, not just among extremists and terrorists. I concluded that this viewpoint naturally results in ‘us and them’ warfare.
I sent links to both the Heifer news commentary and my column to folks on my friend and family list. If you’re not on this list by the way and want to be, just let me know! 
After receiving several emails from folks, I’m beginning to think I’m the only gal around who was not already familiar with Heifer. Better late than never I guess. I’m going to join with others in supporting this organization and buy cows, chickens, etc for folks around the world! I’m so impressed with this program! I highly encourage anyone to check it out if you’re like me and have been in the dark about Heifer!
