Hello there!
If you had told me a year ago I would like a love story between a teenage vampire boy and a mortal girl, I would have said you were crazy. My daughter convinced me to go see Twilight with her and I’m glad she did.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Howdy!
Recently I came across a blogger who asked the question, “Can we be thankful for the things we don’t want?” What do you think? As I started thinking about how I would answer this question, this column was born.
Have a great week as you prepare for your Thanksgiving celebrations. And I hope you find reason to give thanks everyday!
Love,
Annette

Mickey’s story can fill us all with hope today. It’s a story that reminds us the day is darkest before the dawn and the dawn always comes.
I hope you all have a blessed week.
Can you believe Thanksgiving Day is only two weeks away?

Dear friends,
Have you asked yourself lately how you’re doing on accomplishing your childhood dreams? I had not given this much thought myself until I began reading the book - The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. (Good book, by the way.) Randy’s very specific list of childhood dreams got me to thinking and remembering and out popped this column.
Have a good week,

Dear friends,
It seems I’m not alone. According to a new national poll, three-fourths of Americans (or at least those questioned in the poll) are feeling angry, scared and stressed out.
I am, however, beginning to feel better. I hope my column provides you some helpful ideas for feeling better, too.
Have a good week,
Annette

Dear friends,
I’m still prayerfully preparing myself for the election outcome, so this piece is the fruits of my prayers to date. My hope is that this week’s column will be helpful to all “party persuasions!”
Have a great week!

Hello friends,
This week’s column is titled “Never doubt your worth!” Have you ever let another’s words make you feel inconsequential, useless and of no purpose? I have and lately, I’ve been questioning the merit of what I’ve accomplished in my life. But I’ve been gathering some fresh inspiration on the subject and have shared it in this piece.
May your week be blessed with much good!

The upcoming presidential election, the media’s continued misuse of polling results and other changes I’m not looking forward to this fall has inspired this column.
May you find this piece helpful as you prepare to cast your presidential ballot!

Hello friends,
I may not be an expert in economics, but I have survived difficult times and prospered in spite of having little money. My first lessons in overcoming challenging financial crises came from my mom – whose life example has inspired this column.
May you find this piece helpful and reassuring amidst all the economy fears and uncertainties!

Howdy folks,
I’m trying to get back into the swing of my weekly column after a two week break. This week’s column is titled: What if…?
For me, many times when I’ve began a question with “what if”, it has led me down a road of regrets or I’ve been stopped dead in my tracks when I let the fear and uncertainty of the question keep me from pursuing goals or dreams. But I certainly recognize the wisdom of asking “what if” at times as well as the unlimited possibilities the question can also bring into view.
Many blessings to you all!
